Quality Inspector - 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Visually inspect parts for compliance with quality requirements, verify documentation, and read blueprints to determine specifications and tolerances for machined components. Use inspection tools to complete dimensional reports, initiate containment activities when discrepancies are identified, and review data collection requirements based on customer drawings and PPAP standards. Act as an impartial third party between production and customers to ensure product quality while communicating findings and non-conformances to relevant stakeholders. Collect and record inspection data, utilize company portals for time tracking, and perform other duties as assigned. Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring safety gear and the ability to stand for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of GD&T
- Experience with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and indicators
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards
- Wear safety-toed footwear
- Safety glasses with side shields
- Hearing protection
- Additional personal protective equipment as required
- Follow all safety procedures including Lock Out Tag Out when applicable
- Lift 25–50 pounds to waist level
- Lift up to 25 pounds above shoulder level
- Stand for extended periods
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Regular use of cleaning solvents, oils, lubricants, and other substances
- Must be available for 3rd Shift
Desired Qualifications
- One year of related experience or training
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with SAP
