Quality Inspector - 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Conduct documented checks of operating machines and secondary operations to establish acceptable product using prints, measuring instruments, and gages. Verify 1st piece inspections on new set-ups, review last shots and limit samples, and tag non-conforming parts on hold after reporting issues to supervisors. Complete all process reports, audit reports, and daily summaries, then attend the morning shift meeting to review quality and production problems. Maintain clean work areas, file quality requirements, and assist with gage calibration, capability studies, and secondary work as needed. Perform duties in lower classifications when required to support plant operations safely.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in the Kinetic System
- Ability to perform duties in a lower rated classification when necessary to support plant operations
- Ability to perform all job duties in a safe manner
- Ability to maintain a positive, collaborative, and encouraging attitude
- Ability to perform other duties as required or directed by management
