Quality Inspector - 2nd shift

Job Summary
The Quality Inspector will examine incoming raw materials, WIP components, and finished goods to ensure compliance with contract specifications and ISO standards. Responsibilities include conducting visual, dimensional, and content inspections using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gages; utilizing blueprints, schematics, and SolidWorks drawings; identifying and quarantining non-conforming parts; maintaining inspection records; performing 100% dimensional inspections; tagging and verifying components for inventory; conducting final inspections of finished goods; adhering to ISO procedures; maintaining clean work areas and equipment; coordinating re-work and scrap with supervision; and communicating with Production Supervisors and Material Handlers. Requirements include basic computer skills, strong math and technical abilities, high attention to detail, ability to read job requirements and shop drawings, and two+ years QC manufacturing experience. Education: High school or equivalent; certification in quality control is preferred; forklift certification desirable. Second shift: 1:30pm–12:00am Monday–Thursday with overtime Friday and Saturday.
