Job Summary
Performs visual inspection of printed materials for defects and ensures products meet customer-defined quality conformance. Follows SOPs, conducts sample selection and packaging for shipment, prepares written reports, notifies management of defects, identifies issues for resolution, and may assist with special projects or disposition of defective products. Requires 2+ years in quality control/assurance in a printing environment and strong communication and organizational skills. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Located in Houston, TX, with in-person work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 2 or more years of experience in a quality control/assurance function in a printing environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate phases of work with others
- Follows inspection checklist and records defects
- Knowledge of quality SOPs and reporting
