Job Summary
Inspect and verify that manufactured items meet print and customer specifications across welding, machining, and core areas. Perform first article inspections, process audits, and measure parts to ensure conformity. Document findings by filling out inspection reports and nonconformance reports for defects. Gather, organize, and analyze production data to report key quality and process metrics. Report any issues to supervisors or manufacturing personnel as needed. This role requires standing 80% of the time, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using equipment like a pallet jack and chain hoist while wearing provided safety gear.
Required Qualifications
- One year of experience working in a manufacturing setting
- Must be available and able to work the agreed upon shift
- Must be able to stand (80%) of the time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (5%) of the time
- Must be able to use a pallet jack and chain hoist
- Must use safety equipment such as steel toe shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection
