Job Summary
As Quality Inspection Supervisor, lead and develop inspectors responsible for incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure materials, assemblies, and finished products meet stringent quality and contractual requirements. Drive resource planning, training, coaching, and performance evaluation; ensure accurate inspections, on-time documentation, and proper quarantine of nonconforming material. Collaborate with engineering and quality experts to drive continuous improvement, analyze inspection data to identify defect trends and root causes, and uphold quality standards in a highly regulated aerospace/defense environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ten or more years of quality inspection experience in electronics or electro-mechanical manufacturing (required)
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills (required)
- Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and quality standards (required)
- Supervisory experience leading teams (5+ years) (required)
- Ability to lead and develop inspection teams and ensure documentation and traceability (required)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 (preferred)
- Experience with electrostatic discharge control standards (preferred)
- Technical degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (a plus)
