Job Summary
Quality Inspection role in Dundee, MI focusing on ensuring product quality through inspections with calipers, micrometers, vision systems, and CMMs; conducting audits to ensure ISO 13485/9001, CGMP, HACCP, FDA compliance; collecting and analyzing quality data; identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions; collaborating with manufacturing to drive process improvements and supporting internal/external audits; requires attention to detail, QA/quality systems knowledge, and ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality inspection, quality control, or related roles within a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA regulations, CGMP, HACCP
- Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems
- Experience with CMM preferred
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends
- Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and quality audits
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team
- Certifications or training in QA, calibration, or metrology advantageous
