Job Summary
Quality Assurance Inspector to conduct thorough quality inspections in a manufacturing environment using calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and CMMs; perform quality audits to ensure compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, CGMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations; collect and analyze data for continuous improvement; identify root causes of quality issues and recommend corrective actions; collaborate with manufacturing to implement process improvements and support internal/external audits; emphasize adherence to QMS and regulatory standards while maintaining precision and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality inspection, quality control, or related roles within a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA regulations, and CGMP is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and operating a vision inspection system
- Experience with advanced measurement equipment such as a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify trends or deviations
- Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and experience conducting or participating in quality audits
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Relevant certifications or training in quality assurance, calibration techniques, or metrology are advantageous
