Quality Improvement Specialist

Develop new and revise operating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Coordinate the full life cycle of policies, including supporting review by the Policy Committee, facilitating approvals, publishing documents, and archiving older versions. Perform utilization reviews of direct services to verify consistency with current practices, collect and analyze data to implement positive change, and design charts or dashboards to communicate findings. Complete quality improvement activities, assist with regulatory review paperwork, and conduct safety reviews of the living environment. Collaborate with the Director of Compliance on quality assurance matters, provide training, and obtain systematic satisfaction data from stakeholders. Serve as backup for Risk Management duties, including investigating events and tracking inventory.
