Job Summary
Quality Improvement Specialist leads and facilitates agency-wide quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include coordinating cross-departmental meetings to develop SOPs and workflows, developing metrics to drive care/process improvements, coaching staff on quality tools, leading QI teams to identify barriers and create action plans, monitoring and reporting on QI initiatives to leadership, and assisting with writing and monitoring quality management planning documents and readiness activities. Requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, 3+ years in behavioral health, and CPHQ within 1 year. Travel to sites within the City of Philadelphia and across the U.S. may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in behavioral health, healthcare, public administration, or social sciences
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred; CPHQ required within 1 year of employment
- Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in a behavioral health treatment setting
