Job Summary
Quality Improvement Specialist to support high-reliability clinical performance through data-driven improvement initiatives. Responsible for facilitating performance improvement projects with physicians, clinical leaders, and staff; applying qualitative and quantitative data analysis; integrating quality into organizational objectives; and promoting standardized, evidence-based processes to advance patient safety and care transitions within the Banner Health system. Lean Six Sigma and CPHQ certification are preferred. Role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, change management, and communication to achieve CMS and Joint Commission standards across the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- five years clinical experience OR quality improvement experience
- Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Certified Professional Patient Safety (CPPS) certification within 3 years of being in the job and obtaining Quality work experience
- RN license preferred (optional)
- Master’s Degree preferred (optional)
