Job Summary
The Quality Improvement Nurse plays a critical role in enhancing patient care through clinical expertise and evidence-based practices. Responsibilities include partnering with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to analyze clinical outcomes and identify improvement opportunities. The nurse will guide the implementation of sustainable solutions, provide coaching and education, and ensure alignment with quality methodologies and regulatory readiness. This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, clinical nursing experience, and specific certifications, including a registered nursing license and a CPHQ certification within two years.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- 3 years of clinical nursing experience
- 2-3 years of experience in quality improvement, patient safety, or clinical performance analytics
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice
- Certification Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required or within 2 years of hire date
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Quality, Public Health, or related discipline
- LEAN/Six Sigma training or certification
