Quality Improvement Engineer

Job Summary
Lead quality system activities including deviations, CAPA, change control, and continuous improvement initiatives. Conduct investigations into microbiological and quality-related issues and ensure effective corrective actions. Analyze microbiological, process, and quality data to identify trends and risks while partnering with Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and QC teams. Prepare reports and publish timelines to provide feedback and improve the management system through technical support. Promote training of teams, suppliers, and auditors in company processes and products. Support audit readiness and serve as a microbiology SME during audits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Biological Sciences, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience with CAPA, deviations, investigations, and change control
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in dairy, food, dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology manufacturing
