Job Summary
Plan, design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality improvement program for the trauma program, including physician and staff education. Identify and solve quality issues, ensure compliance with initiatives, and review records for abstraction to support accreditation readiness. Gather data, prepare reports for regulatory agencies, and evaluate trauma reports to identify improvement opportunities and risks. Participate in staff meetings, provide in-service training, and collaborate with the IT team to optimize electronic medical record systems. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data and regulatory requirements. Bachelor's degree preferred; associate degree with two years of administrative experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Associate Degree required
- Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience
- Experience in a medical or hospital setting
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in healthcare related field preferred
- Prior experience in quality, regulatory, and/or compliance highly preferred
