Quality Improvement and Sepsis Coordinator

Job Summary
Plan, design, and maintain a comprehensive quality improvement program with a dedicated focus on sepsis-related performance, trends, and action planning. Coordinate oversight of sepsis activities including early recognition, bundle compliance, case review, and data abstraction processes. Collect, analyze, and prepare reports for regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and internal leadership while ensuring compliance with accreditation readiness and reporting expectations. Provide in-service training, coaching, and feedback to staff and providers across emergency services, nursing units, and clinical teams. Optimize electronic medical record systems and clinical decision support tools in collaboration with IT to support reporting workflows. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data definitions, evidence-based practices, and national quality measures applicable to the assigned program areas.
Required Qualifications
- Active SC RN license
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of two (2) years of related administrative, clinical, quality, regulatory, or compliance experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong analytical skills
