Job Summary
Quality & HSE Coordinator to lead quality assurance and environmental, health, and safety initiatives at the Chesterfield, MI facility, supporting automotive paint and coating customers. Key duties include enforcing production control plans for contaminant-free IBC cleaning, standardizing testing and release protocols, managing MSA and gage capability studies, maintaining QMS compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and customer requirements, conducting LPAs and internal audits, and leading CAPA/nonconformance processes. The role requires data-driven problem solving, strong communication with automotive customers, and a willingness to travel (approximately 25%–50%).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma with equivalent relevant experience will be fully considered
- 5+ years in a related industry with strong exposure to Tier 1 or OEM automotive quality environments
- Professional certification in Quality and/or HSE a significant plus
