Job Summary
Oversee the day-to-day operation of the grading line, including proper staff scheduling to accommodate fluctuating needs throughout the year and ensuring employees have a full workload. Train new Quality Graders using company standards, supervise bin setup and changes, and sort between inferior, defective, and acceptable products for proper processing. Inform management of any quality problems and maintain a clean workspace by following the master sanitation schedule each day. Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned. Work Monday through Friday from 5:45 am to 2:30 pm.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a shift lead", "Strong communication skills", "Self-motivated and able to function as part of a team", "Ability to utilize Human Resource Information System (HRIS) software", "Good eyesight to ensure that potatoes are being graded to the best of the employee's ability", "Must wear safety glasses and hearing protection in designated areas", "Occasionally will need to lift up to 10 pounds", "Monday - Friday", "First Shift - 5:45 am - 2:30 pm
