Job Summary
Review and organize First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and Acceptance Test Plans (ATPs) to ensure accuracy. Inspect finished products as a Product Release Delegate (DPRV) to sign off on parts for shipment. Coordinate inspections by scheduling and preparing paperwork for customer and government visitors. Support incoming inspection and assembly departments with part verification and production tasks. Input quality data, test results, and records into computer systems. Assist the Quality team with file organization, document scanning, and software management. Requires high school diploma, 1-2 years manufacturing experience, and ability to read engineering drawings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing, assembly, or office environment
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings, blueprints, or technical schematics
- Experience reading and working with basic paperwork, checklists, or instructions
- Good computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) or other basic databases
- Good eyesight (with or without glasses/contacts) to inspect small parts and read paperwork
- Must be able to legally work in the United States
- Position requires candidate to be a US Person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (US Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and defined by 8 USC 1101(a) (20)
Desired Qualifications
- 2-year Associate's degree or technical certificate
- Previous experience working in a Quality Department or as a Quality Inspector/Technician
- Experience working in a factory that makes parts for aerospace, military, or defense customers
- Having a DPRV (Delegated Product Release Verification), IPC-620, J-STD-001, or other industry certification
- Experience using manufacturing or tracking software (such as Fourth Shift)
- Experience working in a team environment to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues
