Job Summary
Provides coaching services to early childhood programs enrolled in Quality First in a collaborative, reflective, and efficient manner for the purpose of improving quality of care and education in assigned programs. Responsible for orienting and enrolling childcare center, group home and family home care staff to the Quality First program; meeting with program administrators and staff to review assessment findings; developing and implementing a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP); conducting regular coaching visits with training, modeling, resources, and reflective dialogue; planning and delivering trainings using adult learning theory; assisting in submitting incentive requests to support QIP goals; submitting timely reports; collaborating with other providers; upholding EBF core values and standards; fulfilling mandated reporter duties; pursuing ongoing professional development; maintaining clear communication; and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education (ECE) or a bachelor’s degree that includes at least 24 college credits in ECE or a related field with 5 years of experience working in a licensed and/or regulated early childhood setting with children birth through 8 years of age required. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
