Job Summary

The Quality Enhancement Manager will support the Area Director by improving quality of life for individuals served, boosting staff morale, ensuring homes meet state/local regulatory standards, and overseeing safety and maintenance across multiple houses. Responsibilities include daily morning/afternoon inspections for cleanliness, safety, and compliance; coordinating audit forms and reporting findings to management; dispatching contractors for repairs; identifying urgent safety concerns; maintaining regular communication with Residential Managers, Associate Directors, and Area Director; conducting grave checks to ensure proper care; developing relationships with residents and staff to improve living/working environment; and performing other duties as assigned. The role requires passing a criminal background check, a high school diploma or GED, state driving policy adherence, 2 years in the Human Services field, strong verbal and written communication, supervisory ability, prioritization, detailed documentation, crisis handling, public relations with external professionals and state staff, independent work capability, and computer/electronic device skills. Required Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in Human Services field
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
  • Must be 21 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED
  • Meet the Chrysalis driving policy requirements
  • Capable of communicating well in both verbal and written form
  • Demonstrate supervisory skills
  • Ability to prioritize work
  • Able to complete all assigned program documentation accurately and within the allotted time frames
  • Have good judgment and able to handle crisis situations
  • Have good public relations skills in working with a variety of outside professionals and state employees
  • Able to understand and manage personnel issues and deal with staff in a positive manner
  • Able to work independently with little to no supervision
  • Computer and other electronic device skills.
