Job Summary
Quality Engineering Technician will assist Quality Engineers in developing and maintaining quality engineering methodologies and providing quality technical support within new product introduction and manufacturing. Work in a team environment to develop and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste and provide for continuous improvements in meeting all customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
- Intermediate knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Intermediate knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control)
- General knowledge of Statistical Techniques and Analysis
- General knowledge of problem-solving techniques and Quality tools
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, adapt to shifting priorities and meet deadlines
- Problem solving and decision-making skills and the ability to think independently
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate and work well with others
- Show initiative in work by being a self-starter, suggesting new ideas for completing a job, giving input as to how to improve the efficiency of a job, and organizing work time in order to complete jobs in a timely matter
