Job Summary
Directly supervise Quality Control laboratory operations, personnel, and workflows while monitoring KPIs related to quality performance, defect rates, and inspection effectiveness. Establish inspection, testing, and verification procedures for in-process and finished products, ensuring proper utilization and calibration of lab equipment. Lead Measurement System Analysis programs to validate accuracy, repeatability, and reproducibility, and implement Statistical Process Control systems for critical process parameters. Manage the customer complaint and CAPA process to ensure timely corrective and preventative actions, while supporting Lean, Six Sigma, and CI initiatives. Interface with customers on system-level quality topics and support audits, system assessments, and regulatory inspections.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or related technical discipline
- 4-6 years' experience in manufacturing environment in a quality role
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong background in SPC, MSA, and statistical quality tools
- Experience with customer complaint handling and CAPA systems
- Ability to multi-task is required
- Qualify as U.S. Persons as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15
