Quality Engineering Intern-Tyler Coupling

Job Summary
Support the Quality Management team with hands-on mechanical and performance testing of pipe couplings in a controlled laboratory environment. Collect, organize, and analyze test data to evaluate product performance and identify trends. Develop and maintain spreadsheets for data collection, statistical analysis, and calculation of CpK values. Prepare clear summaries of findings and provide recommendations for product or process improvements. Assist with ongoing quality initiatives, documentation, and root-cause investigations. Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized lab workspace. This internship seeks students pursuing degrees in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related fields) with strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and an interest in hands-on testing and mechanical systems. Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with statistical tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently while taking direction from senior quality staff
- Interest in hands-on testing and mechanical systems
