Quality Engineer (TypeScript)

Job Summary
Build and maintain automated testing solutions using TypeScript and Playwright to validate platform services and shared components. Create and run automated tests across API, integration, and end-to-end scenarios to ensure coverage supports scalability and reliability. Embed these tests into delivery pipelines to provide timely feedback and identify quality risks early. Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to integrate quality practices throughout the development lifecycle, contributing to continuous improvement of frameworks and standards. Support the team by sharing testing knowledge and promoting effective automation practices within an Agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in test automation using JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- hands-on use of Playwright as a primary testing framework
- Proven experience in API testing, including designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for RESTful services
- Practical knowledge of tools and libraries used for API validation
- Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals, including test design, coverage, and early defect prevention
- Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support fast and reliable feedback
- Ability to work closely with backend engineers to ensure services are testable and quality is built in from the start
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- proactive approach to identifying risks and improving quality
- Experience working in Agile environments

- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
