Quality Engineer

Job Summary
Develop and implement quality plans for products and parts while performing inspections and audits to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements. Work closely with production to identify defects, lead investigations into quality issues using root cause analysis techniques, and investigate customer complaints to implement corrective actions. Collect and analyze data to identify trends, provide training on quality processes, and maintain records of assurance activities for management reporting. Ensure supplier products meet all applicable requirements and support the development of the Trillium Engineering Management System. Requires a Bachelor's degree, three years of manufacturing quality experience, and preferred CQE or ISO9001 Lead Auditor certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience
- 3 years of quality engineering and/or management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Travel locations as needed, not intended to exceed 10% on average
- Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds (materials/equipment)
- Effective use of computer, laptop, cell phone and other mobile device to exchange information
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent team skills and team-oriented
- Excellent time management skills and meets deadlines
- Flexible; able to multi-task in response to time-sensitive and changing situations

Desired Qualifications
- CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) from an accredited certification program, preferred
- ISO9001 Certified Lead Auditor, preferred
