Job Summary
Lead quality improvement initiatives by partnering with management to reduce variation, improve process capability, and optimize performance through Lean Six Sigma tools. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues and drive root cause corrective actions. Evaluate process metrics to pinpoint improvement areas, coordinate training records, and support the development of quality management systems, policies, and procedures. Apply Six Sigma and Lean techniques to foster a quality culture across operations. This role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, and Green Belt certification, with plastic extrusion experience highly desired. Located in Monroe, OH, this direct-hire opportunity offers strong growth potential within a newly leading organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or similar)
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality role, including managing quality improvement projects
- Experience with a quality management system
- Proficient knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean techniques
- Green Belt required (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfortable working independently and within a team, with confidence to speak up and challenge the status quo
- Strong communication, presentation, leadership, and project management skills, including SOP writing
Desired Qualifications

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Smartsheet, SAP/ERP, MES, and Minitab experience
