Quality Engineer

Job Summary
Establish and maintain compliance with standards, process controls, and inspections for aerospace, defense, and in-line motion projects. Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to lead problem-solving efforts that eliminate scrap, warranty issues, and prevent recurrences. Facilitate containment actions, support internal and customer audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure project requirements are met. This role requires a US citizen or permanent resident authorized to work in the US due to ITAR/EAR compliance requirements for defense contracts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or other engineering disciplines
- 1 to 5 years' experience in a Quality Engineering or related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must possess excellent verbal and writing skills
- Must meet US ITAR/EAR compliance requirements (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident) due to defense and aerospace contracts
- Must be authorized to work in the US
Desired Qualifications
- relevant internships, co-ops, or senior capstone projects
- Gear box and metal fabrication manufacturing process flow knowledge
- Experience with Prolink/Minitab software (QC Calc, Gage Station, Office Buddy, etc.)
