Job Summary
Develop and maintain quality frameworks across multiple projects and operational workstreams to ensure alignment with internal governance, customer obligations, and industry standards. Conduct quality reviews of project outputs, technical documentation, and processes while establishing metrics to measure delivery performance and drive improvement initiatives. Lead root cause investigations for operational or technical failures, facilitate lessons learned workshops, and manage corrective and preventive action programmes. Assess supplier quality performance, participate in audits, and support third-party deliverables to meet required standards. Prepare for external audits and certifications, produce quality reports for senior management, and contribute to organisational quality strategy within a growing technology and engineering organisation delivering complex operational systems for critical infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience in Engineering, Quality, Operations, or a related discipline
- Demonstrable experience within Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement roles
- Experience working within ISO-certified environments
- Strong understanding of auditing principles, risk management, and quality assurance methodologies
- Experience analysing performance data and translating findings into practical improvement actions
- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
Desired Qualifications
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor qualification
- Knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks such as ITIL
- Experience supporting infrastructure, transport, mobility, smart city, telecommunications, or public sector programmes
- Familiarity with supplier quality management and contract performance monitoring
