Job Summary
Establish Quality Systems and documentation for new programs, products, and equipment, including developing Manufacturing Quality Charts, Process Control Plans, and Inspection Standards. Conduct Gage development, confirmation, and R&R studies while analyzing processes for stability, capability, and failure modes through PFMEA. Lead cross-functional teams to negotiate quality judgment levels, develop countermeasures for mass production issues, and prepare all customer approval documentation. Attend internal and customer trials, perform Color and Grain matching, and design checking fixtures with builders. Maintain awareness of environmental policies and management system objectives. Travel up to 20% of the time domestically and internationally. Full-time role, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional overtime and weekend work as needed.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in engineering or technical-related discipline
- 2 year or more of Quality or Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience / education in preparing PPAP or other ISO/TS documentation
- Experience / education in preparing PPAP or other QMS documentation
- Willing to travel up to 20% of time (domestic and international)
- Occasional overtime throughout the week and weekend work
- Ability to lift and/or move up to ten pounds
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Desired Qualifications
- Ability to develop good working relationships with customers
- Statistical knowledge for capability analysis
- Proficient in using SPC software such as Minitab, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret part drawings (blueprints) including GD&T principals
- Ability to perform high level mathematical calculations and to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, and sampling theory
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to conduct detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations
