Job Summary
Lead and support quality certifications including ISO/IEC 17025, IATF 16949, and AS9100 while managing documentation, procedures, and document control activities. Coordinate internal, customer, and supplier audits and serve as the primary quality contact for assigned customers. Investigate customer concerns, returns, and credit requests, then lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities and corrective action implementation. Create and distribute Quality Alerts, maintain inspection standards, and monitor quality metrics and performance data. Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and assist with FMEAs, Control Plans, and MSA studies. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to improve processes and product quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality engineering, or a related industrial environment
- Experience with Quality Management Systems including ISO/IEC 17025, IATF 16949, and AS9100
- Proficiency with Minitab or similar statistical analysis software
- Strong auditing, supplier quality, and corrective action experience
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and handle materials throughout the workday
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
