Job Summary
Perform root cause analysis, develop countermeasures for internal, supplier, and customer quality issues, and lead investigations into audit-related findings. Develop and implement inspection plans for incoming goods, oversee disposition of suspect items, and support the quality inspection team. Create PPAP documentation including control plans and PFMEAs, participate in capability studies and third-party audits, and interpret blueprints using metrology instruments. Communicate product requirements to customers and Sur-Seal standards to suppliers while resolving quality problems. Represent Sur-Seal in ISO audits and support the Director of Quality across new product development and supplier quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Two years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Quality experience
- Computer skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflicting interests and reach consensus
