Job Summary
Conduct quality assurance tests, perform floor audits, and collect production data during new product launches, engineering changes, and pilot runs. Execute established quality procedures by recording test results, communicating findings to Engineering teams, and assisting in updating inspection documentation. Identify potential issues during testing or pilot runs and escalate them appropriately while supporting the evaluation of new production methods. Ensure all products have current and accurate inspection sheets and comply with safety policies and housekeeping practices. This role focuses on performing defined quality assurance tasks rather than driving product redesigns or root-cause engineering projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or a related field
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail with good organizational abilities
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings (GD&T familiarity is a plus)
- Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and present data correctly
- Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment
- Familiarity with basic problem-solving concepts and continuous improvement principles
- Ability to work independently within defined procedure and expectation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Bilingual
- Experience or familiarity with injection molding or blow molding processes
- Familiarity with quality methods or software
- AS400, SolidWorks, and Mattec experience
