Quality Engineer - State College, PA

Maintain an effective quality control program aligned with the Barton Malow Quality Manual, codes, drawings, and contract documents. Review and approve subcontractor quality programs, inspection procedures, and personnel qualification records. Ensure all required testing and inspections are performed on schedule, establishing Witness and Hold points as appropriate. Identify and control nonconformance items, including stop work orders, corrective action planning, and disposition verification. Initiate corrective actions for deviations in corporate document and process compliance. Coordinate qualified testing laboratories and third-party inspection agencies to assure compliance. Submit monthly quality reports identifying measurable results and trends. Collect and maintain all project quality documentation, including logs, test reports, and key performance indicators. Partner with the Project Manager on quality-related issues and play an active role in commissioning and startup processes.
