Job Summary
Support the development, implementation, and sustainment of manufacturing and business processes across UKTC Operations, New Value Introduction, and Value Engineering activities. Drive manufacturing improvements through structured problem-solving and coaching of teams while monitoring quality-related KPIs to identify trends. Manage customer complaints and quality issues in accordance with standards, develop process controls, and lead improvement projects. Ensure compliance with Servomex quality assurance standards and best practices. Full-time, permanent role in Crowborough, East Sussex, UK, with a salary of £40,000–£50,000 plus bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools and techniques
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience implementing process controls and quality improvement initiatives
- Ability to coach and mentor others in structured problem-solving techniques
- A practical, hands-on approach with the drive to deliver sustainable improvements
- HNC (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Manufacturing methodologies
- ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and auditing
- Experience within electronics and/or mechanical manufacturing environments
- New Product Introduction (NPI) experience
- Power BI, Power Apps or Power Automate
- SAP and Minitab
- Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt or equivalent experience
