Job Summary

Support the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System per ISO 9001 while leading technical quality assurance and compliance activities. Maintain quality records, serve as an internal auditor for audit planning and execution, and evaluate process capability to ensure effective control. Perform statistical analysis of data to identify trends, lead root cause investigations for nonconformances, and drive corrective and preventive actions. Provide technical guidance to manufacturing personnel, support qualification activities for new products, and lead cross-functional problem-solving teams. Communicate performance metrics to leadership and manage customer interactions including audits and onsite visits. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and proficiency in statistical analysis.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data-driven decision making
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive sustainable improvements
  • 0–2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with quality improvement methodologies including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
  • Familiarity with quality tools such as: Root Cause Analysis Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) 5 Why's 8D Process Capability Analysis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB), or the ability to obtain certification
  • Experience conducting internal audits
  • Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with metallurgy, welding processes, wire and cable manufacturing, or related industrial manufacturing environments
