Job Summary
Quality Engineer to oversee internal audits, facilitate plant assessments, track non-conformance reports, manage document control, and develop quality metrics. Responsible for generating cost of poor quality and customer reports, coordinating supplier performance, conducting dock audits, and acting as the quality representative for customers through problem investigation and resolution. Must maintain a safe work environment and demonstrate strong planning, multi-tasking, and dependable attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a quality-related field (preferred)
- Experience in an automotive and quality environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and verbal skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, Windows, and word processing software
- Working knowledge of SPC, 8D problem-solving, 5 Whys, and VA/VE
