  • Experience with supplier quality, nonconformance management, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and cross-functional problem solving
  • Hands-on inspection experience with mechanical and/or electro-mechanical components and precision measuring equipment
  • Ability to read mechanical engineering drawings and apply dimensions, tolerances, and basic GD&T concepts; experience with First Article Inspection and FAIR documentation
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet-metal fabrication, plating/coatings, assembly, electronics, PCB/PCBA manufacturing, soldering, conformal coating, or ESD controls
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and independently follow issues through closure

  • Inspection of chassis, enclosures, brackets, machined parts, sheet metal, PCBAs, electronic assemblies, cables, and related hardware
  • IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or similar electronics-workmanship standards
  • Supplier audits, supplier scorecards, SCARs, containment, supplier development, or supplier performance metrics
  • Quality tools such as PFMEA/FMEA, SPC, Pareto analysis, process capability, sampling plans, or control plans
  • Aerospace, defense, medical-device, or other regulated manufacturing
  • ASQ certification, AS9100/ISO 9001 internal-auditor training, Lean Six Sigma certification, or formal GD&T training
