Job Summary
Manage quality-related issues within manufacturing teams and support departments by identifying root causes and implementing permanent corrective actions. Perform product, process, and system audits while monitoring KPIs such as scrap, rework, PPM levels, and customer complaints. Lead problem-solving projects and Corrective Action activities, utilizing dimensional inspection tools including CMM, calipers, and gage blocks. Resolve quality issues efficiently with stakeholders to prevent compromising safety standards. Participate in cross-functional teams for new product and process development. Requires ISO 9001:2015 knowledge and APQP/PPAP experience.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in a technical / engineering related field or equivalent experience
- Accepts direction and projects from the Quality Manager and the Director of Quality
- Fosters cooperative and open communication with all personnel and departments
- Proficient with computers; experience with Microsoft Office
- Be able to work effectively in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment
- Engage interest and participation while working collaboratively with others
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001:2015)
- experience with APQP, PPAP and DFMEA/PFMEA development
- Demonstrates strong knowledge / application of quality and continuous improvement tools
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrates the ability to read / interpret engineering drawings, knowledge of GD&T standards a plus
