Job Summary
Conduct ISO9001 and AS9100 audits, investigate customer complaints, and close them out properly. Support shop-floor teams with RCCA, 8D, Ishikawa, and 5 Why problem-solving tools to reduce scrap and improve yields. Report on KPIs and drive continuous improvement to ensure quality is built in. Work on the shop floor with operators to clarify instructions and processes, preventing issues before they occur. Manage audits and deal with occasional dissatisfied customers while maintaining compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or another manufacturing quality environment
- Working knowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100
- Hands-on experience with tools like FMEA, RCCA, Lean Sigma
- Confidence dealing with customers, auditors, and colleagues at every level
- A practical, problem-solving mindset
