Job Summary
Update documentation, train and implement quality processes such as MRB, RMA, CAPA, and NCMR. Direct MRB activities, perform analytical investigations to develop root causes for non-conformances, and maintain the CAPA database. Coordinate RMA processes, respond to customer SCARs, and issue/evaluate CAPAs for effectiveness. Create and process ECOs, process routers, and drawings; monitor supplier performance via scorecards and conduct audits. Maintain internal auditing programs and lead internal, third-party, and customer audits. Analyze ERP data using Minitab and Excel to generate reports. Create validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ), execute protocols, and document reports. Develop quality plans, pFMEAs, and FMEAs for new and existing products. Conduct capability studies and variation reduction activities. Set up, program, and operate CMM and SmartScope; improve measurement techniques using GRR and MSAs. Compile training material and conduct sessions on quality tools. Communicate with production associates to understand issues and implement countermeasures. Conduct tasks in a safe manner complying with local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical from an accredited college or university
- 2+ years working experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Aerospace/Medical Manufacturing environment
- Citizen of the United States, or Permanent resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15
- Quality orientation and high attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with high performance teams
- Problem analysis and problem resolution skills
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel software
- Must be able to clearly present ideas and reports in written and verbal format
- Must be able to work well with subordinates, peers and superiors in all departments of the Company
- Must be able to work well with external contacts of the Company
- Must have good time management, planning and negotiation skills
Desired Qualifications
- ASQ-CQE Certification is desirable, but not required
- Knowledge of Solidworks or AutoCAD is preferred
