Job Summary
Develop and maintain quality control plans for printing, finishing, and packaging operations. Analyze manufacturing processes using SPC, statistical methods, and quality metrics to improve performance. Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI), process capability studies, and quality validations. Support internal, customer, and third-party audits while ensuring compliance with ISO and quality management systems. Monitor scrap, rework, yield, and production quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities. Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to improve manufacturing processes. Support new product launches, equipment validations, and capital improvement projects. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 3–4 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing quality
- Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, CAPA, Gauge R&R, and Root Cause Analysis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Minitab, and other quality analysis software
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in printing, packaging, or high-volume manufacturing environments
- Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
