Job Summary
Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and VDA standards. Lead internal and external audits, including customer and certification body reviews, while acting as the primary contact for customer quality issues and complaint resolution using 8D and Root Cause Analysis. Monitor quality KPIs, drive improvement plans, and manage supplier evaluations and non-conformances. Lead the development of Control Plans, FMEAs, and PPAP submissions, and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data-driven tools. Manage quality team members, conduct training sessions, and drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies. Create or update procedures and forms across the plant. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive quality engineering is required, with strong SAP proficiency and valid U.S. work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within an automotive environment
- Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3 and core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC)
- Strong knowledge of SAP
- Proven experience leading internal and external audits, including customer and certification body audits
- Hands-on experience with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, and Root Cause Analysis
- Valid work authorization in the U.S.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across production, engineering, and customer-facing teams
- A reliable and personable team player who can work independently or within a team environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality-related software tools (e.g., SPC or QMS platforms)
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles; Six Sigma certification is a plus
- Experience in an international company is a plus
