Job Summary
Quality Engineer responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance systems in a manufacturing environment; lead CAPA initiatives, monitor production quality data, support shop-floor troubleshooting, conduct audits of processes/products/systems, develop and maintain inspection methods and quality control plans, collaborate with suppliers/customers on quality matters, and support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of quality systems, inspection methods, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with root cause analysis tools (5-Why, Fishbone, etc.)
- Familiarity with ISO standards or other quality management systems preferred
- ERP/MRP system experience
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma exposure
