Job Summary
Quality Engineer responsibilities include participating in quality meetings, performing initial quality checks to support daily operations, making informed scrap decisions on NOK parts with Supplier Quality, monitoring and escalating quality issues, conducting thorough investigations on parts (process checks, packaging verification, and overall process observations), performing SAP transactions to maintain traceability, ensuring internal quality processes comply with customer quality standards, preparing and delivering clear written and verbal reports identifying root causes and improvement opportunities, and supporting containment actions while auditing the effectiveness of implemented actions and carrying out system purge checks as needed. The role requires a degree or apprenticeship in Quality Management, strong MS Office skills, knowledge of DIN ISO, VDA, IATF standards, several years of quality and logistics experience (preferably in automotive), and fluency in Czech and English.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Quality Management or apprenticeship and further education in Quality Management
- Good knowledge of MS Office products, especially Word, Excel, Power Point
- Basic knowledge of the required standards (DIN ISO, VDA, IATF)
- Experience in Quality Management
- Several years of experience in Logistics, ideally in Automotive
- Excellent command in Czech and English languages
