Quality Engineer (Line/Product Quality)

Job Summary
Quality Engineer responsible for line/process quality on the Sensors and ASICs production line at PgP5 in Batu Kawan, Penang. Ensure adherence to quality requirements; interface with Process/Equipment Engineer and Product Engineer. Own product quality for Sensors and ASICs, including incoming quality issues and customer issues; generate quality reports (Q-Info, Delivery Release, QM-View) in SAP. Coordinate problem solving across internal and external stakeholders as the Problem Solving Expert; act as SPC coordinator for the Sensors/ASICs line. Support PgP5 Internal Auditor activities (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3) and external/customer audits, 6S, 4M change-management checklists, lessons learned, MSA studies, daily leadership meetings, and return materials processes. Drive continuous improvement in the area of responsibility and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-growing semiconductor environment. Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering and have 3+ years of relevant quality assurance experience; certifications in VDA6.3 and/or IATF16949 are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelors Science or Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent
- Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a related technical or quality assurance role
