Job Summary
Quality Engineer responsible for supplier/customer quality interface in Charleston, SC; manage NCMR, CAR, SCAR; PPAP coordination; lead cross-functional CIP teams; conduct/lead DOE and capability studies with MSA; assist in component and tooling/fixture design and improvement; perform gaging, testing, and inspection; update PFMEA and Control Plans; provide quality-related training to personnel; supervise Quality Technicians as needed; travel 25% to support supplier/customer quality activities.
Required Qualifications
- Four year Engineering degree preferred; BSME preferred
- Experience working in a QS-9000/TS-16949 environment
- Strong background in statistics a plus
