Job Summary
Quality Engineer for KBR’s Missile, Aviation, and Ground Systems division supporting the STARE radar program. The role involves participating in system development, pilot line validations, manufacturing audits, failure reviews, configuration audits (AS9102), drawing reviews, test set validations, and quality audits; providing independent review of prime contractor quality, reliability, and safety activities; identifying deficiencies and recommending improvements; evaluating environmental qualification testing results; supporting on-site vendor quality audits across manufacturing locations; contributing to failure review activities; and supporting first article inspections and related quality activities to ensure products meet specifications before delivery to soldiers.
Required Qualifications
- Active SECRET clearance
- US Citizenship
- BS Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering or related field
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in a manufacturing setting
- Proven manufacturing quality engineering/quality management experience
- Proven troubleshooting and root cause/corrective action experience
