Job Summary
Quality Engineer responsible for managing shift quality operations and system implementations. Responsible for timely testing and release of RM & FG, line setup/changeover approvals within the shift, SAP material release, inspection setup creation, shift-level audits, and coordinating product testing within the shift. Requires hands-on experience with inspection instruments (e.g., X-Ray, Stamp Camera, Catpro), deviation management, incident reporting, and driving quality improvements across manufacturing processes. Emphasizes teamwork, proactive problem solving, adherence to JM values, and ability to adapt to changing quality requirements while ensuring compliance and data integrity across SAP and quality-related activities.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech – Mechanical/Chemical
- 2 to 3 year of experience in Automotive/Manufacturing
- Essential Knowledge of Quality improvement tools
- Knowledge of MS-office
- Desirable Knowledge in SAP (Quality module)
- Knowledge in handling system audits
