Quality Engineer

Job Summary
Direct investigation and resolution of issues across design, specification, installation, commissioning, and sustaining operations for energy storage products. Manage global program and reporting systems while leading collaborative efforts to drive corrective and preventative actions. Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and non-conformance logs aligned with regulatory requirements. Support functional testing, safety checks, and system-level commissioning for battery energy storage containers. Serve as the front line for quality intake, triaging tickets using data analytics to reduce backlog and prioritize commercial risk. Drive product readiness decisions through quality-based business intelligence and lifecycle improvement processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field
- 1-3+ years of experience in quality, engineering, or operations roles within manufacturing and or energy sectors
- Proven success supporting customer-facing project teams and collaborating across global organizations
- Proven experience managing quality engineering non conformities and driving alignment across regional organizations
- Deep understanding of at least two of the following domains: Software & Controls, Batteries, Inverters, Transformers, Civil Structural, Electrical Systems
- Strong background in developing and implementing proactive quality systems, risk management frameworks, and lifecycle improvement processes
- Demonstrated success driving product readiness and launch scalability in partnership with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing teams
- Strong analytical mindset with a track record of data-driven decision making tied to cost and performance outcomes
- Ability to lead through influence and foster collaboration across functions and cultures
- Experience with supplier quality management, product lifecycle integration, and change control processes
- Familiarity with quality assurance for product and design changes, including compliance, validation, and risk mitigation
- 1-3+ Years of working in large scale (100MWpeak +) renewable energy projects or related fields
- Comprehensive Commercial Knowledge: strong ability to interpret legal agreements and establish a position on behalf of the regional organization
