Job Summary
Lead APQP and PPAP efforts by developing process flow diagrams, FMEAs, control plans, and core tools to ensure timely new project launches. Interface with manufacturing, engineering, and program management to facilitate product transfer and implementation. Manage supplier quality activities including receiving inspections, audits, and corrective actions while supporting product validation using testing equipment and CMM operations. Lead teams in developing permanent corrective actions for internal and external non-conformances and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Perform internal procedure and process audits for IATF, ISO, and 5S compliance, ensuring quality systems meet IATF16949, ISO9001, and ISO14001 standards. Participate in MRB board reviews and manage RA's and PO's as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five years of experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ISO/IATF System experience
- 1 year related manufacturing experience
- Ability to communicate effectively throughout all levels within the organization both written and verbally
- Creative and progressive thinker with problem solving skills
- Highly organized
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
- Have understanding of quality philosophies, principles, systems, methods, tools, standards, customer expectations, supplier performance, improvement systems and professional ethic
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering
- ASQ Certification (Engineer, Auditor)
- Experience with fabrication, welding, and light assembly
